They do look yummy. Hopefully tea at the Ritz today will provide something equally fine! We arrived in London early on Monday, went to the Dennis Sever house museum that evening which was magical. Spent most of yesterday at Canary Wharf and the Docklands museum. I've booked for the ball gown exhibition at the V&A tomorrow. Weather appears to have improved too!

They look divine. Enjoy! oh and which one did you choose. I hope your plans are going well and wish you a wonderful day and happy ever after....
Jaywalker - I have also booked for the ball gown exhibition (in September). The Dennis Sever house is on my to do list. No excuse really as we do live near to London but life gets in the way!

Jaywalker -- you've brought some better weather with you, fingers crossed for next week. Have a lovely stay.
We decided to go for all of the cakes (the creamier white chocolate icing on cupcakes, and the more solid white icing for a chocolate wedding cake).
More to follow...

Oh dear, rain this morning! Let's all hope for better for your day, Justine. Are you heading for Scotland?

Tea at the Ritz was all I had imagined and definitely more than enough. Went to the English writers' exhibition at the British library yesterday and lots of connections. Charlotte Bronte's manuscripts, Mrs Gaskell's letters, Daphne du Maurier's BBC interview about her first sight of Jamaica Inn along with a first edition. Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath reading stark, beautiful poems about my birth county. But followed by much laughter at Abigail's Party in the West End in the evening with a very good ensemble cast.
