Sunshine and showers...

I'm off to Edinburgh this weekend, to speak at the Book festival on Saturday evening, and very much hoping to meet some of you there (like Cornflower), though by the sound of things, it's going to be horribly soggy in Scotland. Perhaps I need to pack wellies, and wear them with my frock for the event, as at Port Eliot?
Meanwhile, here are some sunshine-y pictures from Cornwall -- of the daymark at the Gribbin Head, just up the hill from Polridmouth Bay and Menabilly. Actually, I say 'just', but it's a steep, steep climb... especially for a dog with short legs.

Looking at Molly's face in the second picture she doesn't seem to have minded the walk all that much!
Hope Edinburgh is fun and that your event goes well.

The bits when I'm not at work are very nice!
Am off to Paris at the end of the month though- was going to ask if you could recommend anywhere for stylish clothes on a budget!!!

The pound is so weak against the euro that it means that clothes shopping in Paris will be expensive. Hate to be boring, but I'd recommend Banana Republic. Or why don't you go to Bicester Village before you go to Paris? That's got massive discounts on all the designer brands.

I hadn't thought of that! Thanks!

On a completely different note, I've been meaning to ask if you've seen the live action version of 'Peter Pan' ... it's got none of the Disney oversugariness, and has the best Mr Darling/Hook I've ever seen!
