The day before tomorrow...

... am feeling nervous. Not that one is supposed to confess to anxiety the evening before an awards ceremony (being shortlisted is prize enough, etc); so am trying very hard to cultivate serenity... Anyone have any advice on Zen and the art of book prizes? Have I jinxed myself by confession (and so on and so forth)?

Good luck for the award,Justine!Only advice I would have that is remotely Zen is to remember to breathe...

Am remembering to breathe, and have had very delicious chocolate mousse and an uncharacteristic shot of whiskey (Johnnie walker blue label). Oddly, the blend appears to have worked, at least for now...

Very best of luck, Justine! And yes, chocolate and whiskey go very well together indeed...

Best of luck - both you and Coco deserve the plaudits, another successful blend..

Very best - you deserve it. Repeat mantra I am a hollow reed and breathe

"I am a hollow reed..."

A hollow reed that has just filled up with tomato soup and toast for fortification before the evening ahead...
