Great photos. The top photo looks like it was taken by Jay Gatsby, on the periphery, watching the party....

Those photos are so lovely! Yes, it does remind me of Gatsby watching one of his grand parties, from a safe distance...

Ah, yes, it's spring again, and Cannes time, and we'll all dream about the Côte d'Azur and the scent of the sea, white sands, and mimosa...

That bottom photos looks like a Mark Rothko painting - it is the most beautiful blue I have ever seen and I agree with Lilacs in may re Gatsby. I think you have captured his essence.

Swooning... but now back to reality, though escaping every so often into a biography of Gerald and Sara Murphy by Amanda Vail, which took a bit of tracking down, but is really worth reading if you can find a copy.

Damn, the great god of Blogger has swept down from on high, and wiped out all comments from this post. Suffice to say, I'm seeing it as a sign that praise will always be followed by a fall...

Oh no we still think you are great and those photos which remind me of a Rothko painting capture the essence of Gatsby.

Excellent images! I read in pharmacy reviews magazine that a lot of people use to visit that beach because of the its beauty and also because there are the most beautiful women wearing tiny bikinis.
