Some more wedding pictures...

Back in Tillypronie, where all is quiet and green, after the colourful gathering of a fortnight ago. I can't quite believe that only two weeks have passed -- it seems far longer than that, though the bright flashes of the wedding weekend are still vivid in my memory, amidst the joyous blur of so much activity. Anyway, here are a couple more photographs... I do love a man in a kilt (and what a splendid yellow waistcoat it is).

I love seeing all the photos of you both looking so happy and absolutely lovely! (What is it about a man in a kilt...).

Cornflower, might you be able to come to my talk at the Edinburgh festival on August 11th (and have a drink before or afterwards)? I do hope so, and please spread the word to festival goers... It's an evening event: 8.30pm at Charlotte Street Gardens.
Kairu: I think men in kilts look very manly; even more when accompanied by the sound of bagpipes!

My caption suggestion; Dearheart and Braveheart. Lovely photos.

I love Lilac in May's caption!

It takes a very manly man to look dashing in a kilt. I say this as someone who lives in a city (Seattle) once overrun by guys in horrible Utilikilts who are not in the least bit dashing. Fortunately, this trend has died down a bit...a proper gentleman on hid wedding day in gorgeous tartan is something else entirely wonderful.

Beauty and Happiness radiates in your photos, Justine. Every little detail is just sublime...from your bouquet of flowers to the delicate pearls you are wearing...not to mention the dashing groom in his kilt. The bagpipes would have been the icing on the cake! The sound of bagpipes playing always brings me to tears. In your case, it would have been tears of joy. May your new life together be filled with peace and loving contentment.

Dear Justine - you look divine and being Scottish myself I am a sucker for a man in a kilt - so handsome! I am so happy to know you will be at the Edinburgh Festival! I am moving back to Bonnie Scotland at the beginning of August after living in North Africa for 17 years and my first stop will be the Edinburgh Festival - and to see you there would be a double whammy of joy :))
Thank you for sharing your photos and your joy. Congratulations once again :)

Dear Justine, I wish you and your dashing groom all the very best love & luck in the world. You certainly deserve so much happiness and I'm sure Coco herself would be so very proud.

I’ve been trying to post for ages here but for some reason it would never go through. You both look so radiant and elegant. Your musings here have given me so much soul-food over the years. It’s so lovely to share in your joy. I’m sure the ghosts of Daphne and Coco were near adding their style and energy to this special day. I can imagine a young Daphne radiant in your gown. May your cup remain full. Blessings to you both.xx
